ATCOR for IMAGINE 2013 is now available ATCOR for IMAGINE 2013 has been released a few days ago. The new version supports several additional sensors: e.g. THEOS, Pleiades and the future Landsat-8 OLI and has as well some fixes for known problems... Important: ATCOR for IMAGINE 2013 has its own and completely new licensing mechanism as Intergraph has discontinued to support ATCOR with their FlexNet licensing starting with this version. The new licensing is based on RLM from Reprise Software Inc. This means to run ATCOR for IMAGINE 2013 you need two license mechanisms in parallel: a FlexNet license service for the IMAGINE base license and a RLM (GEOSYSTEMS) license service for the ATCOR license. Please also note that dongles (ERDAS or other) will initially not be supported with ATCOR for IMAGINE 2013.

ECW v3 format in ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 The new version of ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 supports in addition to JPEG 2000 and ECW v2 now also the ECW v3 file format. First FIX for ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS and ERDAS ER Mapper 2013 ERDAS Desktop 2013 Version 13.00.0001 provides improvements to the ERDAS Desktop 2013 products (ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS and ERDAS ER Mapper), and requires ERDAS Desktop 2013 products to be installed before this version can be installed. MFB-Geo ERDAS User Forum 2013 moved to summer The MFB-Geo ERDAS User Forum CH has the aim to present latest SW news and to give audience to our users. That was always our goal and it is again the focus this year. To meet these demands, we have decided this year to move the Meeting from the March to June. A second presentation of the same content - almost 14 days later on our "Swiss ERDAS User Forum" - does not make sense. We know that many of you have already marked the March date in your agendas. The advantage of the June meeting date is - besides the experience gained with the Software Innovations of 2013 - that we expect better weather conditions, so the ambience that offers Palais Besenval in Solothurn, is even more attractive. The new meeting date will be announced in one of our next eInfo service mailings or directly on our website. PS: our German colleagues from GEOSYSTEMS will held their 22nd GEOSYSTEMS User Group Meeting together with the Intergraph User Forum 2013 from 18 - 19 June 2013 at the Rhein-Mosel-halls in Koblenz. Upcoming Events Remote Sensing Tutorial at the DGPF Annual Conference in Freiburg The annual conference of DGPF this year is a joint meeting (DGPF/OVG/ SGPF), together with the respective associations in Austria and Switzerland. It will be held from 27.2. to 1.3. 2013 at the University of Freiburg. MFB-Geo is presenting news at the booth of GEOSYSTEMS together with INTERGRAPH. We are looking forward to seeing you there. We would particularly like to announce the GEOSYSTEMS tutorial in the conference program. Irmgard Runkel and Fritz Spitzer will show inter-active and automated workflows for complex image processing tasks using ERDAS tools.
